City of Surprise Seeks Volunteer Drivers

SURPRISE, AZ  (July 29, 2009)  The Surprise Community and Recreation Services Department is recruiting volunteer van drivers to pick up and drop off participants attending Senior Center Programs. 

Drivers are needed Monday - Friday, for four or six hour day-time shifts, once or twice a week.   

Training, t-shirt and lunch is provided. Potential volunteers must pass a background check, have an Arizona Drivers License and maintain a clean driving record.  A Commercial Drivers License is not required.  The Senior Center is located at 15832 N. Hollyhock Street.
