In 2015 the number of violent crimes increased 20% and the number of property crimes increased 5% compared to 2014.  Total Part 1 Crimes increased 6% in 2015 with 2,389 total Part 1 Crimes compared to 2,260 in 2014.  This comes out to a crime rate of 19.1 Part 1 Crimes per 1000 population in 2015 compared to a rate of 18.58 in 2014.
